Owen Farm was established in the 1970’s by keen horse riders Bill and Marygold Holliday as a small private livery stables and stud farm ‘breeding coloured show jumpers.’ The farm buildings were later expanded and the business changed from four legged animals to four legged items of furniture! However after 30 years Bill and Marygold have decided to hang up there retail hats and close the furniture business.
Daughter Jessica will be taking Owen Farm down a new and exciting path. Not only will she still have items of furniture available to view but also she will be restoring a few old Shepherd Huts ready for renting out in 2018. Antique pine furniture and Bill’s hand made Rustic pieces will be available to view by appointment only.
Jessica has also expanded her own social media marketing business, KoreroMedia, as she has reaped the benefits of social media as a small business owner herself and loves to share her knowledge and skills.
Owen Farm is set in the charming hamlet of Well Hill on the edge of the North Downs. It enjoys fabulous views over to London and as a family establishment is home to the families horses, cats and dogs and even the odd tame sheep.
