Well August has passed us by and I haven’t written a blog for a month!  Well lets see; we always have our biggest sale of the year in August and this year it was busy busy busy.  I seem to have finally gotten to grips with Twitter, Google plus, Facebook and Pininterest and it seems that people are still loving the #Vintage and #Shabby Chic tweets and pictures; especially the vintage vegetable and fruit trays.  Maybe its because they have so many uses, tea towels, dried flowers, bathroom bits and pieces, spice racks, storage, the list is endless!

Our little tea room is going really well, however I seem to have got softer around the edges since Granny has been baking every day, my weakness is the Mary Berry Coffee cake tray bake! I must learn self discipline one of these days.

So we are well and truly into September guys and sorry to have to say it but Christmas really isn’t that far away.  This is the time of year when we get fully stocked up with our solid oak and pine tables and chairs so that we can get them to you in time for Christmas.  (Secretly I find it kind of amusing that people must say, Christmas at mine this year and then when they start to think about it they realise they have a table that seats 6 at a push and they have invited 12 people round!).   Good for me, bad for you.   On that note we have a variety of Oak and Pine Table’s and Chairs in, seating from 4 people to 12 people, both extending and static.  We rarely sell at a table and chairs set price as over time we have found that most people like a different chair, depending on how tall they are, the curve in their back , whether they like full leather, all oak, leather seat and oak frame, etc etc.   As a result of this there is always someone at hand to help you move chairs around and sit in them at the table that you may like.

As a last little reminder we have greatly reduced the prices of the Solid Oak Bedroom Range, Milano.  The prices on the website have been reduced by a further 10%, making that 30% off.

The question is – has anyone started their Christmas list yet?  NOT ME!
