Shabby chic and upcycled are the in words within the furniture trade at the moment. Our own carpenter can now finish our Tudor pine range in any Farrow and Ball paint colour, either in an all over silk finish or with a ‘shabby chic’ look.

Farrow and Ball is one of the best paints on the market at present and with its diverse range of subtle colours it is proving to be a popular addition to what we offer.  Some people prefer to have the base of a unit painted and leave the top and knobs waxed whereas others have the whole piece of furniture painted.  We have examples of both in our showroom and on the website.

An example would be to have a pine or oak farmhouse table with a traditional waxed top and then to paint the legs in your colour of choice, and maybe have the chairs painted as well.

We have also embraced the ‘upclycling’  trend and have numerous items that have been lovingly restored or made from reclaimed wood and a proportion of all takings from these items goes to our charity of choice which is the ‘Crohns and Colitis UK’.

We look forward to seeing you in our barn showroom where you can have an extensive browse and a home made piece of cake and a cuppa for £2.
