Well over what seems to have been a very long and wet winter I have managed to accumulate a little bit of stock and very nearly get my showroom up and running. From May I will be open just 1 day a week and then any other viewings will be appointment only.
I don’t want to bore you with just images of what I have at the moment as all of that can be found on the website. However I will just show you a few of the more interesting items I have going on. Original antique pine is my passion but I love all things upcycled and repurposed aswell.
I have 2 stunning pieces of antique pine in at the moment.
This piece is an original antique european pine food cupboard. They have the metal grill on them to allow the food to breathe. Obviously nowadays they probably won’t be used for food that needs to breathe as we all have fridges in our homes. However they can still make a lovely larder or storage cupboard. I actually use mine for toys on the right hand side and the drawers are full of all sorts of things such as hats and gloves. When the door is shut and locked the drawers can not be opened. Very clever and ideal if you have little people with intriguing minds!
This is an original Antique Pine Chest of Drawers that I have painted and then finished in a shabby chic style with a green ‘apple’ paint. It has 3 drawers and lovely cup handles.
These original antiques look great in any style home. They mix well with the modern and lovely in a more country style.
After walking around the antique fairs and shows trying to decide on the style of accessories I want in my shop I have decided to stick to the vintage log baskets and wooden crates, alongside a little bit of Harry Potter memorabilia.
The vintage wooden baskets are incredibly versatile and I have sold them for bathrooms, logs or even flower arrangements. They are just £30 and come in a variety of styles, shapes and sizes.
The wooden crates that I have in are stunning and again very versatile and the teak large and medium root bowls as always are a great centre piece. Each one is unique with its own character so I would recommend coming up and having a look at them all.
Don’t forget I sell both the furniture stain and wax if you are thinking of restoring a piece of furniture yourself or it just needs a little freshen up. Any questions please just ask and I will try and help.
If you would like to view anything from the website then please just get in touch to book an appointment, alternatively you can just purchase online.
We can also arrange delivery for you if required.
